Search for OEM part numbers
Are there any sites out there where you can look up MoCo part numbers for your bike?
|
Honestly? Just go buy the parts manual for your model. I promise you, if you do any work on your bike at all, you won't regret that small investment.
Having said that, sometimes (depending on the year & model) BikeBandit.com has a searchable database of many models of many different brands, including some Harley. Will they have yours? Hard to say, but give it a go and find out. |

dawg... That site doesn't actually give you the part numbers. It's just for ordering from them.
I use jpcycles.com and select the model bike I'm finding parts for. When I get the correct part, in the description there is usually a "Replaces OEM part #: _______". Once I get the part number I check their price against other online sites, then order which ever I decide. ;) |

Are you looking for a specific part from a specific year?

Bikebandit.com shows the part numbers and schematics for Harleys up through 2008. Click on OEM in the top banner and follow the links.

Actually, this site will. Add your parts to the cart and then go to checkout. The part numbers then show up. I use this all the time.
Ok, yeh it does show the part number. I just needed to go one page further. My bad! ;) |
I used the Illinois hd site to get a pdf of the instruction sheet for HDs aftermarket parts. I used that to get the numbers for the kit breakdown on the last page. Helped me get the number for just the part I needed instead of buying a whole kit. Works for some apllications. ilharley.com Depends on what your looking for. Just sayin...

That microfiche page is an absolute Godsend. Good find Dawg.
