Seriously - I ocasionally take a file to the edges of my floor boards to grind off the burs from scraping them.

I just inspected my floorboards.
I guess Ive been scrapping them.
And I dont feel that Im an aggressive rider.

Unless there was some major insulation between, I'd have to agree on the hot feet as well.

I doubt they would last very long on a bike ridden by anyone I know... they'd be scraped off on the first hard turn.

The crashbar oil cooler would make more sense than that.
