Back to the drawing board... Wasn't real happy with the HD Mini Apes. With only 3 inches of pullback, my 5 10' frame and 33.5" shirt sleeve arms were feeling stretched about 2 to 3 inches and the angle was a little awkward for the wrists. I have some Carlini 13 inch Original Apes on the way, they have 8 inches of pull back.

I have similar pics somewhere on my phone from when I changed out the bars on my RK. Lots of parts to remove, but well worth the effort. I actually enjoyed doing it. It leaves you with a good feeling of accomplishment doing the work yourself, and saves lots of coin. I went with the 3-piece 14" KST Spearheads. Reach and pullback are totally adjustable for a perfect fit. I love these bars.

My research that I did shows those bars won't fit a '14 RoadKing. Bummer.

My 08 RKC. 55,000 + miles. Never cared for the leather bags. Was lucky to find a set of pewter pearl hard bags off an 09 Street Glide from a fellow member. Thanks Randy. Also just got rid of the nasty looking spoked rims and replaced with a set off a Road King Custom. I guess it's not really a Classic anymore other than the trim and cruise control. Plan to add color matched lower fairings. It's my 3rd road king and 9th Harley overall.

Did the same thing to my King . As much as I love the look of the classic , for me going with hard bags and solid rims made sense when traveling long distances .

That's a good look, I'm guessing that the bag needs to be pinstriped to match the tank? Like in the pic following yours?

The tank badges on those RK's are some of my favorite. I'd still like to take mine off of the RKS and replace it with something a little more "HD" looking.

You might want to give Ret a call at (678) 378-5036 to confirm whether or not they can make them fit. Your '14, as my '17, has a 1" riser clamp. Although a 1" clamping bar is listed on their site, it is not available. I got around this by installing a Drag Specialties riser with a 1 1/4" clamping section. My stock bar shroud accepted the 1 1/4" bar. If yours doesn't, you might be able to replace it with a '17 up shroud.
