That sure is a sharp looking King Texas!

I'm really not having any issues with buffeting that a lot have mentioned.....for me it is the wind roar that is bothering me the most. I know what you mean about having calm wind behind the shield.....that is how it feels behind the shield of my VTX and that is what I'm trying to duplicate with the King

I added the lowers and the fork baffle at the same time so I don't know what did what but i'm very happy with less buffeting and much less wind noise.

I pretty sure it coming from below the bottom edges of the windshield. I'd give the fork air deflectors a try.

I pretty sure it's not coming over the top, the stock windshield is designed around a 6 foot body.

Yes..my guess is that the wind is coming up from the tank so the deflectors hopefully will help. Sounds like they did for you Brock, good to hear

I installed the fork deflectors and they helped a lot with wind coming up from under the windshield. At first I didn't care for the looks of them but they grew on me and I really like how they work, especially when it's raining. I tried the fork baffle also and it didn't make any difference so i took it off.

I've had both the HD chrome and Memphis Shades Windshield Lowers. The Memphis shades work better.
