I've had hyperchargers on three different bikes. All, 1200 sporty, 98 Softail Custom and 2000 Heritage, had some modifications to the engine. The 98 had the most with 60 thou off the heads and screamin eagle cams and exhaust< (the sporty and heritage didn't have any head work), Dyno'd at 82 hp with 89 ftlb of torque. The Kuryakyn Hypercharger never failed me in any instance. I went with the K&N cone style on my Ultra simply because the Hypercharger appeared to be too labor intensive to install.
