Default new bike what kind of towels or cloth to detail it.

just got an 2011 street glide last night , what would be the best towels or cloth to detail it with .. thanx and this forum is awesome.......

Microfiber, accept nothing else, also a good quality sham for drying what the air doesn't.

Clean Micro Fiber, does not scratch the clear coat like other materials. Can get them in every Auto parts stores and home dept stores.

I wash my RK with Turtle wax Ice car wash, blow it dry as possible, then take Microfiber Towels and Ice Detailer and finish the job.

You get a whole ton of them for about 20 bucks if you have a Costco around you.

Using anything other than HD microfiber will void your warranty.

Microfiber for sure. When you wash the towels make sure you don't wash them with anything other material other than microfiber towels or they'll get imbedded with foreign material that could scratch. I have a bag of them that I use only for the bike and wash them separately. To keep them apart from the other household items I purchased them all in blue; my wife's house towels are green.
