Has anyone contemplated swaping out the .045 head gasket for a .03 and running adjustable pushrods? The reason I ask has to do with the squish band. This may or may not be worth it. What about 10.5:1 on 91 octane?

lol... not really. I handed the bike to my dealer and then I picked it back up a week later.

It's a kit. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me put it together.

I have this same kit in my 2011 Dyna Wide Glide. I love this kit and I had this installed before I even picked the bike up. My kit has the 110+ heads and 260 cams and it screams especially around 3200 to redline. Making over 100 TQ wise in this area. I had mine tuned by Bean at Big Boyz one of the best by far. Only had roughly 800 miles on it when tuned so I'm sure its loosened up a little now. My numbers were 114.9 HP and 113.3 TQ. I am very happy with it. I can't leave well enough alone so at some point during the winter months here in Maine I will have Big Boyz do there magic to the heads and go with .030 head gaskets. I will say on a Dyna its almost scary best 1/4 mile speed according to my dakota digital speedo was 117 so believe me when I say it cranks Good luck and enjoy. Ride safe but Ride like Hell

Forgot to mention I'm running a D&D FatCat with a big bore baffle with my kit.

Wow. Very impressive numbers. I don't see how you can beet this kit for the money. Talking about the new kit in the most current SE catalog. Are those just stock heads that HD has reworked with bigger valves? Are they ported?

I have the stage IV on my RG. If I had to do it all over again I would swap out the 259e cam for a Woods 777 cam. My buddy has it and I think its gives the best of all worlds. Pulls on the low end like a 255, but gives the top end as well.

If it wasn't for warranty purposes and my dealer will cover the stage 4 kit for my full 5 years of warranty I would have gone with the Woods cam not sure which one but definately one of Bobs cams. I run a W6H in my Evo with Big Boyz heads 42 Mikuni and 2 into 1 ThunderHeader on my Road King and I must say I haven't found a 96 with just stage 1 that I can stay with or smoke it being a bagger of course so I'm happy don't have dyno sheet with me but Bean tuned it also and was mid 80s hp and 90s tq

Just curious what the dealer charged you for the kit, installed?
