Here in Northern NH, there will be no riding for at least 6 more weeks(I figure). Raining like crazy now and 12-16" of snow tonight. ****

I drove the Jeep from North Shore to South Coast & back yesterday. It's like two different worlds. North Shore still has 2' of snow and snow banks 4' high. The roads are a mess of sand and huge pot holes.

South of Boston there was nothing - have to actually go looking to find snow.

But when you get there, where are all the sales? I know it just a scheme to lure the customers into the place. I still had a great time riding out to cool off some steam from being home with the nagging (blank) you know who.
The hot dogs were free. They don't usually carry much inventory, but the new parts manager is trying to change that.

In Northeastern CT it was beautiful. Rain has cleaned up the roads and I put about 60 miles in and enjoyed every second of it.

I've been out a few times over the winter (head to toe in brown sh*t both times) but this coming week, temps are finally going to stay above freezing and supposed to rain like hell today and tomorrow. Hopefully the roads clean up a bit after all that. I'll wait another week...

The rain will wash away most of the salt.. but those town plow guys got a budget to burn, so it ain't over yet.

Love to see them cruising the back roads of my town with their plows 6 inches above the road, and targeting how many mailboxes they can demolish on time and a half.

I'm still wrapping-up winter mods, but the roads up here in north-central MA are VERY sand-covered. I'm hoping the rain and some traffic in the absence of more sand will help clear'em up in the next week or two. Right now, getting from my house to a main road would be a SLOW & cautious ride.

But, it won't be long, I have my first ride scheduled for March 26th out to Bubs BBQ in Sunderland Ma.
Salt, sand and potholes... I'm secretly relieved my bike's in storage at the dealership cuz I'd be tempted.

Bubs sounds soooo good right now!
