All right I guess it is time to jump in. Great thread,

How about some Zappa with a little Long John Baldry:

Some really great classics mentioned. Anything Bob Seger is good when traveling, but sometimes I feel like disturbing the peace a little.

Virtually any Iron Maiden or Metallica (pre Black album preferred) will suit me just fine. My current favorite Maiden albums are Final Frontier, Brave New World, and Flight 666. I can cover a lot of miles just on those three albums alone.

The guitar solo in Roll It Down the Highway is still my favorite one of all time.

My wife and I both love the old Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin music. We have a bunch of that type of music on the IPOD along with classic rock. We just can't seem to get in the mood for country and western music while riding.

I have 2 "theame songs" that coicide with my "wonderful" work envirnoment.

1. Cry'n like a bit*h - Godsmack
2. Right Now - Korn

Not only great open highway songs (due to lyrics, dont want to be blasing these songs near mini vans) but awesome work out tunes.

This tune causes me to get speeding tickets!!
It plays in my head when I am on the race track.
