Default Dark Side Sure is Bright!

Me and the Misses have came over to the Dark Side. We traded the '09 Street Glide for an '11 Road Glide Ultra Thursday and I have to say it was the best trade I have ever done. Not only did the monthly commitment to HD go down but so did the insurance. There is no comparison on the ride quality and the handling is as good if not better (even with non-lowered bike). Now the fun starts - addition of new chrome. Don't be fooled, if you have the chance to ever ride a Road Glide do your self the favor, it is unique.

PS- Pictures coming soon if it will stay still long enough

Congrats. You should pay it off before going for chrome and after market parts. It's a lot more fun that way. I remember some of the things I wanted but would pass up on and end up buying another accessory because my income was tied up in making payments.

BTW, there is nothing on the face of this planet that I could finance that would make me feel as good as I feel without debt.

What I wondered. Only thing I can figure is reduction of accessory protection ($5000 to $3000) and ABS brakes. Needless to say the $3000 coverage will have to be bumped up soon.

Congratulations on your new bike. It looks so damn comfortable. What mods have you got planned so far?
