Rode to work and gazed at Mars next to the blood moon. Clear sky. No forecast for rain. Hit a 3 mile wide storm cell and got soaked. Air dried the next 30 miles to work. Go figure.

This morning I added some mounting tape to my rear fascia in hopes of stopping the rattling and possible cracking.

Default Blown Head Gasket III

Replace front and rear head gaskets. I had signs the rear one had blown. Next time prior to being so quick I'll do a compression test first...silly me? Even so prior to starting I'll do one just to check things. Hopefully, I haven't booger up the rings and or valves? Added a Baker primary chain adjuster also while doing on-going fluid changes. Fingers crossed I haven't F'ed things up to where-as I need a whole new top end? FLHTPI 2002

Took it on a Twisties trip to another country, I MEAN, state, KY! Went with blackxpress and nomadmax and another gentleman on a trike and had a great time. Absolutely perfect temp/weather to boot 😎

Wink New to Harleys

Well today I bought my first Harley! I traded a 2006 Suzuki boulevard in for a 2010 FLHTCU! Wow! 165 miles up to Dallas and return in a Cadillac of motorcycles. Got home and immediately bought footboard extenders IMC 7 Pin headset for my helmet and am looking for some highway pegs...Any suggestions?

I finally got my radio back and running today. Awhile ago, I started having this issue where the volume would turn all the way down on it's own or all the way up on it's own... I took off the PAC handlebar control unit and the issue resolved, but I needed to increase or decrease the volume on the Sony head unit itself. Fine for awhile, but irritating to try and make adjustments while riding. I installed the Scoche kit today and all the controls are working. Hopefully this will solve that issue.
