So, I had to gently laid it in its side (I have highway bars and bag guards), and got off while cussing under my tongue, and proceeded to try to tilt it up. The homeowner came out to assist and it lifted pretty easily, but I do feel embarrassed a bit. I already had new fork sprintgs on my winter 'to do' list, and that is now at the top of the list.
I feel for you man, I haven't admitted this to anyone until now but about a month ago I was backing my ultra out of the garage and the wife's car was in th way so I had to duck walk the bike backwards onto the grass on the passenger side of the car. Going from raised asphalt to grass made the bike trip a little but I was so close to the car I didnt dare muscle it too much the other way for fear of hitting the car so i was forced to lay her down gentle on her side. I was fuming and cursing as I paced wondering how I would pick it up then I remembered the videos I watched and was able to pick it up without much issue no marks just embarrassed. What I'm trying to say is don't sweat it. It happens.

Got a little better deal to a local promotion on lighting...$190 for front and rear. They had to get from thier warehouse. I’ll post up some pics when I get them on.

I just rolled over 1000 miles since I bought the Road King 3.5 weeks ago. Picked up a modular helmet and insulated gloves today, and they make a huge difference in riding comfort.

Changed the fluid in my still “new to me” ‘07 FLHTCU primary. It was DIRTY!!! Oil was changed a month before I bought it. Going to do the Transmission next. Just wanted to do one thing at a time so I could feel a difference of each...if there was one. And...yes there was.
