What did you do to your bagger today?
I went to my friend's house in Whistler yesterday morning for breakfast - it was a nice sunny day with minimal wind for a change. My friend asked me to take one of his guests (he owns a hostel) for her first ride on a Harley, so I agreed to do that after we ate. I took her all through the back roads behind Alta Lake and then went ripping down the Sea to Sky Highway for over an hour. I found out later, that this was her very first time ever on a motorbike and when we got back, she was elated.
Just a quick update....
I have found I really like this fan. Under 40mph it helps keep my right leg cool and you can see the head temp drop. Over 40mph if I feel my leg getting warm, I turn it on and I can feel my leg immediately cool down, though the head temp doesn't decrease. I have to say it was a well spent $150.00 total for the fan and hardware to mount.

And, guess what... I did not have a severly hot right leg, so I guess it is working. I did not pay attention, but I know I would normally have to put my leg out on the highway peg to keep it cool, but not today.
BUT, BUT, BUT...$150 total, GREAT deal. I ordered mine through Surdyke; the fan was $256, then I needed the extra wire harness at $38 overnighted delivery and then a $36 dealer Service Flash for a total of $330. I must assume every thing for a new model bike just cost a lot more.
I guess I have to agree. We did a 50 mile group ride for breakfast this morning. By 9 AM Temp was close to 90 degrees. Typical group ride...round about local roads and all under 45 MPH.

I got the clutch recall done and I finally installed some highway pegs. I am finally stretch my legs while riding my Road Glide now.
Went to Dyno Solutions in CT yesterday. John is the best! Found him on this forum many years ago when a local Long Island dyno shop (Now out of business) had really messed up my 2003 Ultra and John fixed me up. I have a canned PV tune from Fuel Moto that was very good, bike ran great (Just alittle lean at 2800-3100 rpm) John tuned out the minor lean issue and flattened out the A/F mixture. The minor HP and TQ gains were just the icing on the cake.
Pulled the mid frame deflectors off and went for a ride. Engine ran a little cooler.

Is that a tank lift on there? If so, how do you like it? Another thing I've been heavily considering.
