What did you do to your bagger today?
Insert Kit
2019 Street Glide
My right side windshield grommet was coming out a bit. I tapped it back in with a socket and hammer (softly) so it’s flush. I noticed it is spinning a bit so I can’t get that screw torqued (30” lbs so not much). The reason for fixing is my windshield was rattling a bit when idling or low RPMs. This might have fixed it (I put the windshield and fairing back on but haven’t started bike as my 3 year old is napping above the garage) but if not, has anyone pulled the little grommet out and applied some superglue and tapped it back in? I know you can get some aftermarket ones that screw in but I was thinking I would try this first. Thanks.

Plenty of kits on Amazon. Inserts are were also pretty reasonable at Harley the last time I looked....but that's been a while :-)

Went with Fairing Inserts when a couple loosened up on my 03. They have been solid every since installed. Easy repair, just pay attention to the instructions so you get the correct end inserted.

Lmfao.. First thing I did when I bought the expensive replacement Mustang seats for all my bike was use an Allen Screw in instead to try and make it more difficult for some one to steal. Where did U get yours?
They call me Twister. Years ago I made the comment “Sometimes ya just gotta twist on it” and it stuck.
Wifey named my RK Special “Thunder” cuz she says she hears me when I slow to turn on our road and it sounds like distant thunder when I twist on it toward the house.

I haven’t. I bought it with 7,812 on it and it’ll trip 30k soon. The previous owner claims it’s stage 3 but I really don’t think it is. Doesn’t show any badging and doesn’t have the cam lope you get with say a RS-468. It does have the TTS tuner, Rhinehart full 2-2 and Ventilator. I’m happy with the performance as it is, for now.

Mine’s a’17 with the 107. It’ll hang with my sons ‘20 114 SGS stage 1 and leave my DIL’s ‘19 114 stock RKS in the dust.

Doesn't sound like DIL knows how to ride. It's as much the rider as it is the bike.
