Nothing today but,,,,, it rained all night and most of the day. Roads were dry when I got off work so I'm thinking I'll take it to work tomorrow

Put some Bitchin Bagger 1.50" drop shocks and the HDPDPLUS II iPod controller on earlier this week. But, I got a chance to do a little riding today (it's been raining the last four days) and really like the feel of the shocks and the convenience of the iPod controller. Got another package enroute from New Castle HD with my iPod tether to hold the iPod in the saddlebag.

I installed Kuryakyn extended shift levers on my FLHRCI, both the heel and toe. Here is a shot that shows the stock levers, and one of the new ones for comparison.

This pic shows the design of the lever a little better.

And here is the finished job. Significantly more room on the footboard now. Positioned the heel nice and low for easy upshifts, but the toe nice and high so my boot can slide under it and let me stretch my leg.

I also removed my passenger footboards today. It's a solo bike!

Too much snow, salt and dirt here so over the last couple of days i've replaced the passenger pegs with the matching "streamliner" passenger footboards (and moved the pegs up as highway pegs) which i ordered from J&P Cycle...even after shipping, duty and customs broker fees i still paid far less than i would've at the local HD shop. Finally got around to fixing the front brake light switch i broke changing my grips a couple months ago.

ComeOoonnnn spring!!!

We got 70 degree temps here today so I had to take the cover off and take a ride. The local HD had a tent sale so took a buddy with me. We had a few hundred bikes stopping in all day long. I took my Road King and my buddy rode his Sportster. We put about 100 miles on today. Heading back out tomorrow for another good ride before putting the cover back on her.

Default 15000 mile service

With the help of my brother-in-law, performed the 15000 mile service. There's a lot to be said about the satisfaction of doing yourself and knowing it's done right not to mention the money saved! After that, went for a great ride with temp in the upper 70's.
