I got my Service manual, new derby cover, timing cover... Gonna ride some this weekend then start the disassembly for powder coat. I can't wait to have a totally blacked out SG. Ordered polished stainless bolt kit for the re-assembly and got the rocker wrenches that were Waaaaaay overprice on HD.com.

Went out in the garage and looked at it. Wished the weather would get back to normal so I could ride!

Default Out with the old in with the new

Replaced the worn out Compensator, Auto Chain Tensioner, Inner Primary Bearing and Inner Chain Case. Installed the latests / greatest Harley SE Compensator, Hayden Chain Tensioner and Harley chrome inner Primary chain case. Since the new chain case comes with a new Inner Primary Bearing, I also replaced the inner primary race.

I had to go in to the Primary twice as I heard the inner primary bearing going bad after installing the new compensator. Figured while I was going in there, might as well do the chrome inner primary.

Not exactly today but 2 weeks ago:
I got GMR 107 kit installed in my 2010 SG (by Steve at GMR)
Here's the details:
Before:
Stock 96" stage one
SE AC, V&H true duals, supertrapp fat shotz
Power vision
70.18HP/ 88.62Tq (80+ @2200~4500rpm)

Now:
GMR 107 kit (10:1 cr)
GMR machined n ported heads
GMR's genesis 577 cams
Barnett clutch spring
S&S premium lifters
Adjustable pushrods
S&S power tuned dual headers
Supertrapp FatShotz
Result:
110.35hp/ 120.10tq (100+@ 2300~5700rpm
110+ @2600~5200rpm!!)

Now I don't get any itch when I see 2014's!!
Lol.
I wish I knew how to post a pic here so I could post the dyno sheet. But if someone wants to see it, PM me with your cell number.

Thanks, Brian. I'm pretty proud of her...and she'll get down the road pretty quick! I am a 'vertically challenged' kind of guy...been wanting this Baker unit for a long time! Called the crew at Baker a few weeks back and Matt made me a deal I couldn't refuse!

I have the Baker bearing on the bench...looked at the Buehler, but after riding with the Screamin' Eagle clutch for a year I have a 'Popeye' left arm...decided to skip it.
