Talking mild mods

I finally got around to adding a secondary aux-input through the back of the head unit. Then I added a switched USB power adapter so the phone doesn't run down. Finally, I ripped out the BS ignition switch / fork lock and replaced it with two toggles. One hidden and one on the dash.
The best part? It all works.

Needed new grips and came across these http://www.jpcycles.com/product/501-507
going to try them out. Also placed an order for http://www.jpcycles.com/product/305-683 to replace some cheap LED lights I purchased at $8 per the pair. For the price of the two item why not give them a shot

Installed H-D adjustable backrest. Not particularly fond of the "look", but the "comfort" more than makes up for it.

Default Gps

Plugged in GPS through cig and you know what that meant (Shorted something). After a careful examination found that it was a burnt ground connector to battery term. Replaced it and ran a separate power source to battery from GPS. All good 4 now.

You may want to run your grounds to the grounding studs on the bike. After a few strange electrical issues I noticed that the Stealer had wired all my accessories (cigar lighter, Boom! Audio, etc) directly to the battery. I had to spend a day under the seat moving wires to safer places.

Cheers!
