Super easy with nothing else needed, but maybe a Fuel Management. It the headpipe swap that takes some time and effort. I'm doing it now. Below is a recent SE Air Cleaner thread of mine that may interest you.

You may wanna do a search on Stage 1 for the bike Chris or just wait a couple days and Im sure a few people will point ya in the right direction. But it is to my understanding that if ya just add slipons you are fine. If ya just add and A/C you are fine. But if you do them both you are gonna need a fuel manager and a dyno because your bike is gonna run very lean.

with an 09 the ecm and 02 sensors will compensate for your mods. now if you go much more like cams, compression, etc, then you'll need some sort of fuel/ignition management system. put those parts you have on, you'll be just fine.

I needed the download on mine -- Opened up the pipes and it was running a little rich. Installed the SE high-flow and it turned really lean. The download at the dealer was in the $150-ish range and brought it all together wonderfully.

Granted -- I sort of wish I could still just grab a screwdriver and give it a twist...

In any case, if you have popping on deceleration and what not, do yourself a favor and get the download. It'll cool you off a bit too.

I didn't go the "fuel manager / dyno" route -- The "factory" high-flow download was fine and I want it to run well, but I'm not necessarily shooting for "high-performance" -- Just higher performance. Well, honestly, the whole thing started with just getting rid of the cat because I was burning my foot. The upgrade was more or less a bonus.

No doubt though -- If you're looking to squeeze the horsey, you can do the fuel manager and have it dyno'd incrementally up the scale. If you just want to have a little extra oomph without the big bucks, the download will do ya.
