I'm not a thump'n/head bang'n blast the music audiophobic so just spent $100 on HogTunes speakers and they work for me. No amp & TD's...still hear the music fine while cruising...JMO.

I think that the best bang for the buck is HogTunes. You can spend more and get better performance but HT does the job well enough for less.

I have the Hawg Wired Double Shot system new. Sounds great. I am upgrading to their 6.5 speakers. They are not ceap, but I am very happy with it.

Once my bike is back from the painter I am going to sell my HW speakers and the adaptor for the hand controls.
