I have a leather C&C SportTourer and love it. If I remember correctly when I was speaking with Chuck at C&C, he did not recommend gel. Saddle comfort is subjective to the rider's opinion. I have a Corbin Gunfighter on my FXR2 and love it. Everyone always complained to me that Corbins are very hard and uncomfortable. I disagree. Once broke in, they are very comfortable for the long ride. I went with C&C on my new bike since Corbin couldnt give me what I wanted and am very happy with my choice in the C&C.

I am glad I asked. No gel will save me $85 and not getting any texture and stitching for comfort will save me even more. I think I will get the hardware put in it for a backrest.
I had a Corbin on my Deuce and I liked it even with people saying that Corbins are too hard. I never had any issues with it. Thanks guys.
