Anyway, let he who has never dropped his bike and thinks he never will cast the first stone.
Doesn't seem to be even a scratch on the bags which surprised me. I'm scared to look to closely, lol. Thanks for all the kind words fellas.

Were there any women watching? I bet there was, bikes don't drop and clutches don't pop unless there are women watching.

Actually no one saw me drop it. Within 10 seconds there were 20 cars going around me and only two people asked if I was hurt then drove away. Thank god for the guy working late at his collision shop came out and helped me. He was extremely nice and never even laughed once.....Think I might swing buy his shop and drop off a small token of my appreciation.

I'm familiar with the sick feeling when you do something stupid. The floorboard on my old Heritage kept it from hitting the garage floor. Every brand new vehicle has to get that first nick of some sort. Be happy it is small. I'm hoping the one I just got on my new hard bag working on the bike in the garage is the token new vehicle boo boo.

Welcome aboard! Lucky to be able to "lay" it down gently! Bruised egos mend easily, bikes not so much!

You should be ashamed, dropping your own bike! I have friends that do it for me....... First month with the RG a friend moved it so his girl friend could get to her parking spot & dropped it for me. Saved me the trouble.

Don't let it bother you, it sounds like you handled it just fine. Besides, you just proved the old adage, "either you've dropped one, or you're going to".
