Default Louder slip-ons

Looking for slip ons louder than the Screamin Eagle Touring mufflers that I have installed. I've heard Rineharts and the 4" sound decent but I'm a tightwad.

I considered gutting the packing on the SE mufflers but it looks like the baffle is spot welded. I pulled the screws at the outlet and the baffle won't budge.

Is there a louder / cheaper alternative ?

I picked up a used set of cycle shacks on e-bay for 80 bucks. Can't complain about the price or sounds and they don't drive me crazy on the hi-way. Mellow cruising and definitely wake up under throttle.

what SE mufflers do you have if they are 65115-98b or 65115-10's you can replace the baffles. the baffles get pretty tight due to rust and you need to remove the muffler and use a thick wooden dowl (I used a sledge handle) to knock them out. I put the supertrapp se series baffle for 10-11 models in my 65115-10's and much beefier sound.

Rush slipons with 2"-2.5" baffles are pretty throaty and won't break the bank...

Why don't you do a trade with someone on this forum. In this past week there is someone not happy with their loud slip on.
