Reckless fairing any good?

Thanks. I had originally ordered a 9" shield and could just barely feel wind buffeting the top of my helmet. Based upon your recommendation I sent it back to exchange out for a 10" shield. It made a HUGE difference over the 6" shield that came with the fairing.

I have a Reckless Batwing Fairing on my 2010 RK and love it. It is a very high quality fairing and has an awesome stereo and speakers. Mine has the Sony Ipod Stereo and Polk Audio speakers and it sounds great much better than a lot of higher priced systems on a bike.
The only con to the entire purchase was communications or lack there of with Reckless. Their actual delivery date was a almost 2 weeks later than they had promised it and when the fairing finally arrived, there were zero mounting instructions with it. However, mounting it was pretty easy to figure out. It will come with 4 machined 3/8" stainless washers and 4 standard 3/8" stainless washers.
Remove your auxilliary light bracket and replace each of your existing rubber windshield mounts with one of the machined washers and one of the standard washers which when put together make a similar mount as your rubber mounts.
Mount your fairing just the same as you would your windshield except there is no spring latch like on your windshield. Instead, you tighten your mount acorn nuts tightly.
Fortunately, the wiring harness will come with instructions so it is pretty easy to hook that up.
