Default Who's manufacturing custom Bagger's??

It's time for a new scooter and I want something a little different this time. I've spent $12,000 over the years updating my 2006 Ultra I bought new in the fall of 05'

I want an Ultra equipped bike but I don't care for the rear end and paint on the new CVO Ultra's.

I like the CVO Street Glides but then there's the expense of buying a tour pac, seat, 13" shocks etc etc.

I looked at a bike Fat Baggers makes this year and I love the bike but hate the price with a plain black paint job. They did a great job with the bike but I think $45,000 is too high for what it is. JMO

I've looked all over the internet and can't seem to find anyone else other than FBI building a custom Ultra.

I want a custom look with the CVO Ultra options. I'm probably asking too much but just thought I'd see if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Maybe the 2012 models will give you something you like. I think they are due out soon. Just a thought.

I am.

Also, Yaffe, Sinister, Native Customs, etc. They all make customs.

Or buy a stock bike and send it to one of the above folks or me for 10-15K in customizations.

I was thinking the same thing. I really hope they do a different paint scheme on the Ultra. I don't care for the flame's on the 2011 CVO.

I like the SE Street Glide because of the stretched bags and rear fender. I know I could do that to and Ultra but then I might as well turn the street glide in to an Ultra. Would be less money in the end.

Guess I'll see what they do with the paint this year.

It seems my taste is bigger than my wallet.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to find something already built like FBI's bike. I can do the majority of the work needed to customize a bike so if I go that route I'll just do it myself like I did with my current bike. I'm definitely not the caliber of a builder that you and the others you mentioned are but I could manage for what I'm looking for. Plus I'm impatient. LOL

Like was said John Shope of SSinister Industries builds some far out crazy baggers here in AZ. Yaffe tossed his hat in the game also. Google Yaffe Bagger Nation and Ssinister Industries for more info.
