Front Brakes Pulsing on 06 Ultra

Front Brakes Pulsing on 06 Ultra
2006 Ultra Classic
When I grab some front brake the front end seems to lightly pulse at low speed stop.
15k miles on tire and brake pads / all 4 still look good / Rotors look OK.
It almost feels like the wheel is slightly out of balance when braking lightly at low speed.
No squeal. Does not feel unsafe. Just have never noticed before.
Any ideas?

You have a slightly warped rotor. You can use a dial indicator and rubber mallet to straighten it out if you chose not to replace it. Warping rotors are common on '00-up bikes.
BTW, I've been riding on slightly warped one for the past 30k miles or so. I don't let it bother me.

I have the same problem on my 06 FLHX with 18000 Km. Will solve that with floaters this winter, but very dissapointing none the less

I also have the pulsing on my RKC, I have had the rotors checked 3x and they are NOT warped. I put on Lyndall pads and they are great and reduced the pulsing. It was much worse before. Floating rotors will take care of it but I think the real fix is in disasembling and cleaning the calipers. Sorry to hear you have this problem but PLEASE let us know how you solved it.

I went to floating rotors front and rear at the time that I replaced the OEM tires (12,500 miles) on my '05 Road King Classic. Because the OEM brake pads were in great shape, I didn't replace them a this time. Probably will at the 20K service and they will be Lyndall Z-Plus.
Results were; big increase in braking ability, no noise whatsoever and a little nicer looking disc. ................ BC
