Anyone know if a 2006 Street glide tank will fit a 2005 Electra Glide?

 

It should be the same tank....what is different is the dash panel. You would need to either swap dash panels, or run a road king seat.

If your bike is an EG Standard...did you have the engine powder coated/painted?

 

It will fit. I actually have a 2005 EG tank on my 2006 SG.

 

Yes, I had all the aluminum covers powdercoated, along with the fork legs, and crash bars. I was tired of polishing...and I wanted to take it a different direction than most everyone else does [ie..Chrome]

The cylinder heads got the black highlight treatment when I sent them out for port and polish work. This way it has the two-tone scheme carried through to the engine as well.

 

Did the same switch for a friend yesterday!!
