I've been riding easy to break it in. Not lugging it or running over 4,000 rpm.
My old 103 Stage IV setup may have beat it in a drag race, but as far as cruising I can tell the 110 has a lot better torque for riding.
In my 2009 I had tried HAWG WIRED's biggest amp and speakers and couldn't hear it on the highway (I gave it away).
I had Biketronic's biggest amp and speakers and couldn't hear it at 70 in a head wind (so I sold it).
I ended up hooking up a headphone jack so I could listen on some ear buds (worked perfect).
I can hear this radio just fine at all speeds I've driven. It has a decent sound at all speeds or sound levels.
No need for the ear buds with this system. I would like to have them, but I don't need them.
So they call it a 400 watt system.
