Just do it!!I dont think you`ll have glare.I have a Flame Pearl Blue inner, and there is no glare.
Shop around, and see if you can find a body guy that works on the side.I found a guy that works at one of the best and busiest body shops in the area.He hooked me up!!!!
He is younger, but does great work.Plus,he doesnt have a house he cant afford,or kids that suck him dry,and his prices reflect this.Just cause its a bike, doesnt mean it has to be $$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Good luck on your decision!

I've gotten my Tequila Sunrise inner on order now for about 3 weeks. I'm not worried about the glare.
I can tell you, that you won't be getting your stock fairing shot for that price. I talked with a company in Golden Colorado, who used to paint bikes for teh Harley CVO lineup. I was quoted over $500 bringing to them, more if they filled the mirror holes. And that was for their matched paint, not a quart of it from HD.
In the end, I ordered from my dealer, because allegedly there are issues sometimes with the paint, and the way they're packaged from the warehouse, shipping is around $75 cause the box is over 108" in girth.
Paying that once is ok if the paint is perfect, but if not, you just ate up any savings from ordering online.
I think I paid about $530 OTD for the fairing. My dealer gave me 10% off for military...

I ordered one from the dealer also for the same concern. I was told that if painted items arrive with a run in the paint or "orange peel" the item is consideres to be acceptable by harely standards and would not be able to be returned because of the imperfection. This doesn't seem right to me.
