Most put a "Frenched" trim ring to cover up the rim. Makes it look much better, and doesn't cost too much.

Both HD and Truck-Light are significantly brighter than stock. No matter which you go with you will be very impressed.

 

Just a side note for those of you planning to get a TruckLite LED. I love mine, but found that I cannot use an in-fairing antenna with it. I have tried several brands and they all caused static when the headlight is on. Ended up leaving antennas in the back of the bike.
