Rear fender removal

Rear fender removal
Do you have to remove the rear wheel to remove the rear fender? Can you get to that bolt at the front of the fender?

i couldnt get the bolt out, had to remove the tire...others say they have....to me tho its easier to take off the wheel

I had to drop the rear tire too. I didn't want to...tried everything I could think of including letting all the air out of the tire and using a thumb-ratchet. None of that worked. Tire had to be dropped.
