Default Anybody have any luck with transition goggles/glasses for night riding?

I'm off to work early and I come home late... these days, that means I'm always riding prior to sunrise and after sunset. I hate stopping to change glasses and I don't like riding at night with sunglasses. I'm looking at some transition glasses which go from smoke to yellow (for clearer night vision), but I don't have any experience with them. Suggestions? Thanks.

I picked up a pair of 7 EYE transition glasses this year in Sturgis, awesome glasses, they are made by Panoptix. Came with a removable foam seal and a geek strap, best riding glasses i have owned. Check them out.

I'm not generally a big fan of HD products for this type product. But, I have had 2 pair of the transition glasses from HD. Love them. They fit well, and are always the proper darkness or clear.

I never worry about what glasses I have. I only need that one set.

Only reason I've have 2 pair, is somebody stole my first pair when I went to the men's room. Now, they always stay on my head.

I'm sure with a little research, you could find the company that makes this glasses for HD. I've just never had the time for that when I needed glasses.

I have a pair of the HD transitions and another pair I bought at Roar to the Shore. The HD's were twice the price of the knockoffs and work about the same. I like both - they adjust pretty quickly to glare and clouds, and I don't have to worry about digging out a pair of clears when the sun goes down.

I have a pair of Panoptix (now 7 eye) and love them. They are the only glasses I wear year around, night or day.

I have a pair of Wiley-X SG-1 goggles (with interchangeable temples) that totally rock. They are prescription polycarbonate lenses with transitions. I carry my glasses for when I'm off the scoot, but I wear the Wileys day and night, all year long.

These are great recommendations guys.

What's your thought on prescription lenses?

I need night riding glasses too.
Glasses are kind of new to me. I know riding with bi-focals is O U T !!!

Is on pair that transitions from light to dark enough? Do they get dark enough?

I meant to ask . . . Is ONE pair that transitions enough?
