I just installed this kit with saddle bag extension cable and the Oil Temp gauge kit two days ago.
I found it very easy to install. I would say the hardest part for me was taking off the tank and that was super easy.
Ran all the cables (Ipod and Oil Temp sensor) in the cable pan duet on the frame for a nice clean install.
So far I love it and you will to!

I'm going into the aux port, on the console. The ipod plays just fine as long as the bike's not running. With the bike running, the iPod battery goes the second I plug it in. I've checked the voltage, everything reads okay.

What do you consider OK voltage from the AUX port?
