progressive shocks

Where did you get that price? You are a HDF member and as being one, your pricing is less that that of the other aforementioned "Shock". This dealer direct program is not available to any outsiders such as the other so called "Forums" or people on the internet. Call me and provide your screen name for proof and you are good to go.

We did speak about a month back about the 3-3 and you were very helpful and knowledgeable but they are out of my price range at this time. Are the 2-2B or 2-2A available now?
Thanks

940
I am looking into picking up a set of 940. I asked my dealer if they worked with them before and they said there has been reports of bottoming out alot they recommended the 440 now i dont want to spend $500 to scratch my mufflers all to hell anybody have any real reviews on these
The 940 shocks come with the heavy dude springs on the shocks. That is the same spring rate that is on the 440 HD shocks. If you pick up a set of 940 and find them to be too stiff we can put a softer spring rate on the shocks for you.

If you do the 440's in december they progressive will send you a set of front springs so you can do progressive all the way around for the cost of the rears......

Your complaint is not the norm and most riders of your size would not benefit from a decrease in spring rate. Will cause a lot of bottoming, but if a swap to a lighter coil is what you feel you need to do it is not a warranty case this spring rate package is what we approve and recommend for riders ranging from 150-270 lbs depending on preload setting.
Thank you.

Same here. I'm at about 200 lbs with full gear. Ran the 940s on my Street Glide for a few hundred miles then sold them - too stiff even on the lightest setting. Now running the HD Premium Low shocks and very happy with them.

Progressive, take note. Between the 940's being too stiff for all but the largest riders and ALL of the issues I read about with the monotube fork cartridges, you are losing customers. I will second that it would have been nice to know about a softer spring being available when I purchased the 940's. Maybe you need to offer them standard as 941's or something.
