I am contemplating buying a set of the V&H 3" Fishtail's to replace my old style (Pre Emissions crap) Sreamin' Eagle slip on's. I currently do not have a tuner, just the download, and It runs great.

I do not want to have to fork out more cash to buy a tuner if one is needed with these pipes to keep me running right. So I am seeking the experience on this board.

BTW, My set up is: V&H true duals (no cross over) SE stage 1 air cleaner, HD Stage 1 down load, and SE slash up slip on's (64926-99) with no other performance mods.

I'm running the V & H Oval slipons, not the monsters, V & H Power Duals. If you've already had the DL with the Screaming Eagles and your V & H Duals, you probably don't need another DL just by changing your mufflers.
