Congrats.

Getting the painted fairing and chrome front end kit right off the bat was one of the best moves you could have made IMHO.

Will be interesting to see if you end up with 12" apes down the road.

Klock 8.5 tinted windscreens are the way to go.

hoethree,

I'll send you a PM with the list of parts I removed. The parts came off an 09, so I'm sure they will fit!

No Apes for me, I'm too short, even that 8.5" windscreen looks tall!

And now, because I said I would, crappy cell phone pics!

Joe,

That red did look really impressive, and it's been a long time since I've had a red bike, but I just couldn't keep my eyes of the blue this time around!

Picked up my 2012 BBP SG today and all I can say is Wow! Traded in a 2007 Fatboy and can not believe the difference in the ride. Put about 100 miles on her today and can not tell a whole lot about the mods until I get past the 500 miles break in then I can go above the 3000/3500 rpm limit. Had VH pipes, fuel pack, high flow air cleaner, and header pipes (to get rid of the catalytic converter that is now contained in the stock headers) installed before I took delivery. A few other decorataive items added but the performance parts were the main thing. Hope to have some pics to share soon.
