Does anyone here know if the Rick Doss saddlebag guard eliminator bracket will work on 2009> baggers? Says for 1997-2008 but wondering if different with the new frames?

Would have to say no. I don't own those but 09 and up are a different frame all together. Might run into problems being the frame is 4 inch or so longer.

 

Bagger Werx make these http://www.chopperscycle.com/bagger/...ls-(pair).html for 1993-2012 baggers. I know they work as my buddy has them bolted on to his 2002 Ultra and his brother has them bolted up to his 2011 Limited. H-D lists (2) different part #'s for 1996-2008 and 2009> but they list for $140. !! The ones above aren't available anymore but they look just like the Rick Doss items in the Drag Specialties book. Just might take a chance....

 

Damn wish I'da known about these when I took my rails off. I just went ahead and bought new stock saddlebag supports and replaced. Looks fine but these woulda saved me some dooh-ray-mi.
