Yeah It cost me almost $900 to do apes myself.

$325 Vindikta Wildcats
$329 New Control Cables
$70 New grips (optional)
$15 Transmission oil
$13 100' roll of 18 ga wire to extend wiring (I bought extra on purpose)
$7 brake fluid
$5 Blue Threadlocker
Whatever the exhaust gasket cost, I forgot how much that was already.

I also added a Turn Signal Load Equalizer becuase I removed my front signals until I can find some I like to mount on the lower bolt of the Nacelle. $65

There is a good chance you won't like they way your mirrors look either so you may be getting new ones of those too.

If your gonna do apes honestly the easiest/cheapest route would be to do it yourself. Plenty of install guides on here to help you out. Also buy it from directharleyparts.com cheapest I've found yet. As far as bags go that's your call. I had a plan almost like yours and after almost 6 months nothing I planned is on the bike except the stage 1

Wow really a grand? I'm doing apes for under 500 on mine. That's wild one 16" apes new magnum cables all wire extensions and tbw extension. Plus handlebar bushings all new oils and fluids and the gasket. Really a grand?... that seems expensive if you ask me. You can get the whole setup from hiccups out of Austin for just under 700 and that already put together with upgraded brand bars and cables from Barnett you guys should shop around ha!

Oh BTW you probably don't have true duals but since you don't have a cat slip ins will hold you until you're ready for a full stage 1. Can't beat rineharts 3.5 inch. Sound good but a little expensive. I just bought some b&e exhaust for 75 bucks from a forum member only 135 plus shipping from the factory. Had some extra cash and figured what the heck couldn't be an worse than stock.

I recommend just riding your bike for awhile and just read about different things on the forum. After awhile people's bike pics will start giving you the 'I wants' and you'll be making yourself broke for sure...but for now, don't be in such a rush to part with the mula
