Got a call from the dealership last night that the inner fairing and other upgrades were done on my new FLHX. Now just gotta wait to get her home (of course, the first snow storm of the WHOLE SEASON hit yesterday, so the roads will be crap for the next week or so probably).

Got the chrome front end, painted inner, BOOM amp/speakers/hidden antenna and iPod cables done...

Looks good, how much AMP Power and how does it sound after you get it out on the road ?

Think the painted inner is by far the best looking Glide upgrade !

The "Painted Inner Fairing" is the number one upgrade to me (even better than wheels).

It doen't matter what color the iPod is, it's never seen.
Mine goes in the pouch in the lid tether.

FYI:
It doesn't matter, but they installed your speaker grills off 1/4 turn.

 

Looking at your inner fairing, I noticed something...it is flat on the top. My '11 ultra is curved .. is that an added piece or do the '12's come with it that way?

 

LOL, I wouldn't have even noticed the speakers if you didn't tell me...

I didn't have anything added, so that's a stock '12 painted inner. To my eye looks the same as the stock inner...
