Heres a few pics of my Plate installed. I am headed out to go for a quick ride before i watch the Cowgirls loose. I believe we are up to aroun 50 degrees today.

This plate just looks so much cleaner then the stock one. i do nto know how anyone could own a SG and not pick one of these up.

here it is stock (with proof i have ridden in CRAPPY weather. I had to pull over here it was raining so darn hard. Could not see or stand the pain of the rain......

More dumb questions from the newbie. I really like the way you have the tailend lit-up. Is that the panacea set-up with the led lights? I have never seen a good pic of the panacea lights on a bike before so I'm not really sure what I'm looking at. Is thelight for the bottom of the fender stock street glide or aftermarket? I would like to put all this on my 04 roadglide.

The lights on th bottom of my fender are OEM on the Street Glide. I did see a roadglide that they installed the SG lower fender on. I will see if I can find the thread.

Yes that is the panacea set-up on the rear. There is something like 300 LED's back there. The tail lights and turn signals flash 3-times once you hit the brakes before the brake lights and turn signals stay on bright.

Try removing the rear light bar and tail light. Go through the tail light opening. Use a curved wratchet (I think it was 7/16 or 1/2) took about 45 min. yes a PITA but well worth it......

Try removing the lower shock bolts while using the bike lift.
I have done this in the past for fender bolts.
Some do this for a rear tire change.

I have this plate holder on order. I saw on TV (Speed Channel) they were mounting the new moustache bar (which I have) and this plate holder, to drop the hard bags off anf the lower shock bolts and that would help the install. The guy did have the bike on a lift. Maybe this helps someone.

If you remove the tail/brake light housing there is a large enough holeto get easy access to the two bolts that hold the light bar to the fender. I did that to install the streetglide license plate relocation kit and had no problems
