I am sure all will go well with your surgery. Follow the ole doc's orders. Let the bike provide motivation, but nothing more. Plenty of time for riding later. You don't wanna do anything that might ruin your quality of life going forward. Take it one day at a time.

Had a couple major surgeries myself and came out on the other side. One was a rare kind of tumor the size of a hockey puck that took a good part of my paraspinal muscles with it when they took it out. The next was malignant melanoma, which was 3 years ago.

You'll do great. My thoughts are with you. You'll be back in the saddle soon!

Hey let me give you this advice. Take double the dose of stool softener as soon as you are able. If you don't have that get 2-4and glasses of prune juice depending on your body weight going cause the stuff they give you will plug you up in a hurry. If you don't the first turd you take will feel like the size of your wrist and you probably wont want to be exerting pressure to expel that thing from your body

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. And I appreciate that advice hog. Good info to know.

And I have severe herniation and degenerative bone disease in C6/C7. They have to go in and fix the herniation and bone damage as well as put a titanium plate in.
