Rockford Fosgate 300x2 amp with 6.5" speakers

You won't get much knowledge listening to a video shot from any position other than the rider position; bass will sound better the farther back you stand--just ask member John Scrip--bass will always sound better when you stand to the rear of the bike. Likewise, riding the bike changes what you're hearing and, IMO, a static bike is pretty much useless in trying to evaluate a motorcycle's audio system unless all you're interested in is parking the bike and listening.

Sounds pretty good still at 70 unless you have a really windy day. I was riding the other day and it was windy as hell and some songs I couldn't hear very good. Went for a ride tonight and it is a calm night and hit 75 and still sounded pretty good. The speakers are the shallow mount power 6.5" Rockford Fosgate speakers

Info
Unless you find an adapter ring for a 6.75 inch speaker the standard power series speakers will NOT WORK IN THE FAIRING. I have tons of time and effort into trying this with no luck. I went as far as to modify the adapter ring to incorporate the boomarang or bridge or whatever you want to call the thing the tweeter is mounted in and it will not work because the standard version is a little too big to fit the 6.5 adapter. The outter rubber ring of the woofer rides on the adapter. Again trust me I tried and tried. I put the shallows in the fairing and the deep ones in the lowers with the 4 channel and it F'ing ROCKS!!!! I attached the only pics I have that show the difference. Hope this helps everyone out some.
