Default Anyone with quick disconnect tour pack

How much weight is saved by taking it off?

Next time you remove it please put on a scale, with whatever
mounting hardware is also removed.

Inquiring minds what to know. Thanks.

For scientific accuracy, you should empty the thing first.

Sizes will vary of course, my ride is 2011 FLHTK if anyone
can match that. That kit is expensive but I may get one.

Can't help you with the weight, but it does make a difference in the handling. I have a vivid black one I used for my 09 SG. it saw about 300 miles of the 22,000 miles I put on the bike. I traded the SG for a 14 Ultra limited, so I dont need it anymore. Pm me if you are interested.

15 FLHTK. Just recently spent the $$ for the disconnect tour pack. Not sure of the weight, but it makes a huge difference riding. Happy having option for tour pack on or off. Meant had to purchase another seat. Sorry do not have a means to obtain weight

I did weigh mine about 10 years ago when I converted to detachable on my '06 and it was 35 lbs. I only put it on when my wife rides with me. I love the versatility it offers.

Default Just weighed mine

With the mounting hardware and backrest - 33lbs. Mine is the full size King Tour-Pak, with Key Lock - no lights. For a 2017 Road King quick disconnect system.

I only have the 2 piece back rest, and the lock and latches. Don't notice too much difference with it on. But I only ride with it on when I'm going on a trip. Never on except to work to wash it when in town. I put my clothes and snacks in it only. Saddlebags get the leathers, tools, and rain gear and water. Not too much weight at all in it.

I was able to locate an accurate scale. 2015 Limited tourpack with quick disconnect kit fitted, tourpack empty but with normal fittings (top fitted luggage rack/two antenna/backseat back rest and rear speakers) weight 48.6 lbs
