Just rode my new Ultra Limited home from the dealer
Wow! What a great ride! I love this bike!
I had a 2010 FXDC Super Glide Custom for the past 2 years. I made a lot of modifications to it, and had a lot of fun doing it. It was a nice bike, but my wife and I decided that for longer rides, a bigger, read "more comfortable" bike was needed. At first I was concerned that I was giving up some handling and fun in the twisties by moving into the touring realm. As it turns, that isn't the case at all. My FLHTK handles great and rides like a dream! Low speed maneuverability is excellent too, much better than my FXDC.
Sorry for sounding like a kid in a candy shop guys, but I just can't get over what I've been missing. Unfortunately, now I get to travel (by plane) for the rest of the week.
Can't wait to get back.
