What can I use to plug unused bolt holes?
#3
Harley makes plugs for that very thing, though they're about $1.95 per plug, if I remember right. I bought mine without asking the price thinking they'd be somewhere around $.75-$1 per......but I got banged on that one!
They do fit tight, and make the bike look a touch more "finished". I would bet that you can find something at Home Depot that would work for cheaper, but whether you want to invest that much energy into it is up to you. In hindsight I probably wouldn't do it any differently, but I did get hit with sticker shock.
