I have insurance also. By the time I pay a deductible it will probably be a wash. It may turn into an insurance deal but not until I give the touch up a try. It will cost me nothing to try.

Not a bad idea if that's what suits you.

Yes, the bars need to be swapped and it's easy to do. I did mine and am happy I did. One slip on gravel/sand and you're laying it on it's side.

Everyone one has a choice here with the saddle bag guard rails.

Without a doubt the scoots look much BETTER without them.

But like I said before, the "Just in case" factory is worth every penny to have them and not having to deal with insurance company, body shop, waiting on the right paint color, and just not able to ride because your bike is being held up for something.

I don't care how many rider's edge classes you can take, how many miles you log on a year......

If you own a motorcycle, you will go down, it's a matter of when.

My road king fell over on the lawn and the bike guards saved the bags and everything else from touching the ground. They might not look good but they sure did the job.

Would be nice if there was a crash guard for the bags that low profile and didn't have t come all the way up to the top of the side cover. ....hhhmmmmmm!
