You sure they are timed and tuned correctly? My bike felt like it lost 200 lbs when I installed my 255s, matter of fact it was the best bang for the buck so far.

 

Chrome valve stem covers with a little, really small skull on the end of the cap. WTF was I thinking? I could've bought beer with that ten dollar bill!!

Their is no such thing as a "worst" upgrade, because then it would qualify as a downgrade...unless it was your "Best" downgrade which would qualify it as a upgrade. So whatever was done didn't matter much. .......

 

Okay, so what cam did you go with after tossing the se255 cams?

 

Saddlebag hinge stop kit. Complete waste of money.

2nd would probably be the 204's/1.72 rockers/true duals I put on. It runs cooler, made a huge seat of the pants difference, and sounds great, but for the money I don't enjoy the bike a ton more, and I spent $900 to do it all, just in parts. At the end of the day, it's still a fat pig of a touring bike and won't be fast without a ton of money being thrown at it. I love it, and wouldn't be on anything else, but I could take or leave the cam swap.

If I were to do it again I'd do apes/seat again, and leave the rest of it alone.

 

The worst were the SE "torque" mufflers for my Dyna--sounded like ****;put the stock ones back on the same day.

Another piece 'O' crap was a smoked chrome air cleaner--looked great in the shop; very uneven, blotchy finish in the sunlight. Couldn't return it 'cause I forked it up accidentally.

Also fugly were the Kury footpegs I put on my FXDL about 10 years ago. I looked at them after the install & thought "WHY?"

 

$600 saddle bags! Couldnt stand the look and who needs to haul that much crap around.

 

My worst upgrade was buying my 07 FLSTF and not getting a Roadking.

I called my Fatboy the money pit.
