It may even be something I'm doing, shifting too soon or something like that. I appreciate all the feedback I've gotten, thanks again. Also, I see looking at the dyno sheet this was done in 2010. I'm new to the fuel injected/dyno tuning world, is this something that should be done regularly? I'm assuming, though not positive, that the motor work, etc. was done prior to this dyno testing.

That is a strange looking dyno trace. Can't really tell where peak torque is being made. Also it stops at 4300 rpm which is weird. Also your air/fuel mix line is showing about 8.5 which doesn't make sense. It should be more like 12 to 14.If you are really making 97 lbs torque and the curve is that flat then your motor should pull to 100mph very easily in 5th. I wouldn't trust that dyno trace.

Thanks, carpetride. I'll look into getting it dyno'd again. I appreciate the help.

Have seriously considered a Baker 6 speed box to get that added little gear ratio but concerned the engine, mine is a 88ci, may not have enough to pull it well.
I had the same issue with my 2000 Ultra when I installed the Baker 6 spd. even though I had a StageI kit on my bike.
THe 1550 kit did the job for me. The T/C 88's with the 5pds are great bikes for cruising but they are not geared for expressway speeds.

My Ultra (with OEM trans) was taching about 3500 RPM's at 80 MPH.
With the Baker DD6, it tach's about 3000 RPM's.

I will say one thing about going with a 6spd, don't count on increasing your MPG's.
With the lower RPM'Syou just want to go even faster and cruising at 80 MPH with a 6spd will use as much (or possibly more) fuel as cruising at 70MPH with a 5 spd.!

My Ultra get's about 40 MPG's if I stay at or under 70 MPH.
Once I pass 70 MPH, the MPG's start dropping and at 80 MPH, it drops to about 33 MPG's.

Ths point is, going faster costs more.

My engine mods and heavy right hand may be a factor though bahaha
About 46 mpg is the best I get and that is staying below 70 mph, above that I will see 40 mpg. However, the bike seems to like 75- 80 mph very happy at that speed. I do not know what the rpm is at 80.... at times a Tach would be nice.

I got some ping issues will get corrected this week. Timing is everything LOL.

for just a minute...
Does the RKC have a 6 or 5 gallon tank? The specs on Harley's site show 6, but I have run my tank to the point that the computer doesn't even show miles....it shows "LO" and the most I can get in it is 5.2 gal. My Power Vision shows that I am averaging 51 mpg (and based on a 5.3 gal tank, that's accurate).
