Its time to change my front tire and removing the axel on those Arlen Ness Hot Legs is a!!!! the axel turns but wont come out anyone else have this problem or know a way to remove them? I noticed on the Ness site that they sell "replacement axels" Is that a sign that this is the norm ??? add $50 every time I change a tire??? NOT HAPPY!!!

 

After minimal cursing and the sacrifice of a chicken I was able to remove the axle and release the wheel. "I used a propane torch and a pair of visegrips." There is a hub ring that needed to be heated to release its grip on the axel. Now to find someone to change the tire!!!
