I had to retard my timing across several tables to eliminate pinging are you saying the same can be done by adding fuel instead?

Fuel, timing, and other tuning parameters can/will vary greatly depending on the specific combination. In most cases you do not need to remove timing in typical stage 1 applications, we have not done so in any of our maps.

I had to do the same to get rid of pinging on my 09 EGC. Brought this up to Jamie and he said in most cases they can get rid of the pinging by tweaking the fuel tables. I have bad pinging on my SG. Hope this can get rid of it.

So , does this basically do the same thing as the Cobra tuners on the market, but you can store a map in it ?

Default It works great!

Saw this offer last Wednesday when I was 'lurking' for ideas to free the 103 in my new bike. I had put Rush slip-ons on my prior 08, but thought this one needed more. I was an inch from pulling the trigger for the Power Vision, but would have been eating Ramen noodles for the next year. The micro tuner looked to be a viable alternative.

I ordered the tuner/filter package Thursday morning. It was delivered Saturday afternoon. I spent a few hours this morning installing the tuner, the FM air cleaner, and a set of V&H twin slash slipons. Headers are stock with the cats still hanging in there.

I plugged in the laptop and FuelMoto, as promised, has uploaded a map based on my upgrades. I have to say, I was a little...okay, o lot...concerned about how the bike would function with a canned map, but let me sum this up in a few short words: the bike now runs like a Harley should. If the throttle is twisted, the bike takes off. It runs well, no popping, sounds good, and performed solidly in all ranges. I did a slow scoot about town, and let 'er rip on the highway. It just plain worked.

If you are thinking about this, here is one vote FOR.

Jamie told me it comes with a bone stock map, a map for your upgrades and you still have the space for one more. Be it yet more changes or a tweaked map for comparison.

Okay, good to go I guess good bang for buck.
For myself, I would still want a PV, for upgrades and if issue where timing needed to be taken out or other.
