I'm looking to add a solo tour pak mount to my bike and was wondering if anybody ran one with a fastback seat. I really like the look of the fastback compared to the regular solo and was hoping it was low enough that a king tour pak on a solo mount could fit right over it. Anybody ever try? I found one thread where the solo pak was placed on the stock seat just to try and it fit just to tight where it was creasing the seat

 

You can't use a solo tour pac with anything other than a solo saddle. I have that setup and tried using my C&C sport tour but even with it's low profile back, it is not low enough. There is only about 1 1/2" clearance over the fender with the solo tour pac. That's on an 09 FLHRC so maybe some of the other models may be a bit different.
